Lucca Borges de Brito , called Lucca , (born February 14, 1990 in Alto Parnaíba , Maranhão ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

In his youth, Lucca went through various clubs until he came to the Criciúma EC in 2009. In 2010 Lucca got his first appearances in the professional team of the club. But already in the third game in the Série C he tore a cruciate ligament in his right knee and was out for the entire season. Lucca returned the following year, but dropped out after a broken collarbone . On June 27, 2011, Lucca was loaned to Associação Chapecoense de Futebol in Chapecó to get back in shape in Série C.

For the 2012 season Lucca returned to his home club to the target of the rise in the Series A helping. Before tearing a cruciate ligament again, this time in his left knee, he scored eleven goals in 26 games. This performance sparked interest in signing the player through clubs such as Flamengo Rio de Janeiro , Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte , Corinthians São Paulo .

The player accepted an offer from Cruzeiro to play for the club from 2013. On May 22, 2013, Lucca made his comeback in the Copa do Brasil . The player could do little to help Cruzeiro win the third Brazilian championship . He was only in the starting line-up once, sat on the bench 28 times and was substituted on eight times. He failed to score.

On January 15, 2014 Lucca returned to his home club on loan. September 2015, Lucca was awarded to Corinthians São Paulo . The following May the club took over 60% of the player's shares (50% from Criciúma and 10% from Cruzeiro). Lucca received a three-year contract. Although he played regularly for Corinthians in 2015 and 2016, Lucca was loaned to the AA Ponte Preta for the 2017 season. In 2018, Lucca initially played for Corinthians, but was loaned to SC Internacional in April until the end of July 2019. Another loan deal followed in September of that year. Lucca came to al-Rayyan SC in Qatar . After the season was over, Lucca returned to Brazil. There he was loaned to EC Bahia again until July 2020 .
