Guilherme Antonio Arana Lopes , called Guilherme Arana , (born April 14, 1997 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian football player . He's playing in the left-back position.

Career

Guilherme Arana received his athletic training from Corinthians São Paulo . Here he also made the leap into the professional squad in 2014. As early as 2015, he took part in all professional team competitions, such as the Copa Libertadores , the São Paulo state championship and the national championship . He won the latter in 2015 and 2017.

From January 1, 2018 he will be under contract with Sevilla FC . The Spaniards paid a transfer fee of 11 million euros to Corinthians São Paulo . After Arana had only played twelve games in a year and a half at Sevilla, he was loaned to Italy in August 2019. He came to Atalanta Bergamo . The loan was limited to one year and included a purchase option. Arana's first competitive game for Bergamo was in the league . On September 1, 2019, the second match day of the 2019/20 season , he came on as a substitute for Robin Gosens in the 79th minute of the home game against FC Turin .

Another loan deal with Arana became known in January 2020. He went to Atlético Mineiro in his home country . The loan was limited to June 2021.
