Réver Humberto Alves Araújo , called Réver (born January 4, 1985 in Ariranha ), is a Brazilian soccer player who is currently under contract with Atlético Mineiro .

Career

Réver began his career at Paulista FC , where he was part of the professional squad from 2004. With Paulista FC he won the Copa do Brasil in 2005 . In 2007 he was loaned to al-Wahda , but quickly returned. In spring 2008 he was awarded to Grêmio Porto Alegre , where he was signed in November and signed a five-year contract. At Grêmio, Réver became a permanent fixture and quickly became a regular.

On January 28, 2010 Réver moved to VfL Wolfsburg , where he signed a contract until June 30, 2014, but did not play a league game. However, this was dissolved again in the summer of 2010. Réver then returned to Brazil, where he has since played for various top clubs. At the end of December 2018 he signed a three-year contract with Atlético Mineiro .
