Saint-Clair is located about 29 kilometers southeast of Saint-Étienne in the Haut Vivarais and extends along the valleys of the Massif du Pilat , on the eastern side of the Massif Central . Saint-Clair is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Savas in the north and north-west, Peaugres in the east, Davézieux in the south and south-east and Boulieu-lès-Annonay in the south and west.
