Lalouvesc is a French municipality with 386 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Saint-Romain-d'Ay belongs to the Arrondissement of Tournon-sur-Rhône and the canton of Haut-Vivarais (until 2015: canton of Satillieu ). The residents are called Louvetounes .

Lalouvesc is located about 74 kilometers south-southwest of Lyon . Lalouvesc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Symphorien-de-Mahun in the north, Satillieu in the east and northeast, Lafarre in the south, Rochepaule in the southwest and Saint-Pierre-sur-Doux in the west.
