Mauves is a French commune with 1,177 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Tournon-sur-Rhône and the canton of Tournon-sur-Rhône .
geography
Mauves is about 75 kilometers south of Lyon . The Rhône limits the municipality to the east. Mauves is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tournon-sur-Rhône in the north and west, La Roche-de-Glun in the east and south-east, Glun in the south and Plats in the south-west.
