Saint-Cyr is a French commune with a population of 1,372 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Tournon-sur-Rhône and the Canton Annonay-1 (until 2015: Canton Annonay-Nord ).
geography
Saint-Cyr is located about 34 kilometers southeast of Saint-Étienne in the Haut Vivarais and extends along the valleys of the Massif du Pilat , on the eastern side of the Massif Central . Saint-Cyr is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Peaugres in the north and northwest, Colombier-le-Cardinal in the north, Saint-Désirat in the east, Thorrenc in the southeast, Vernosc-lès-Annonay in the south and Davézieux in the west.
