Jaunac is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 127 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardèche department in the historic cultural landscape of Vivarais .

In the second half of the 16th century, the old town center was affected by the turmoil of the Huguenot Wars (1562–1598) and was gradually replaced by the newly founded village of Jaunac .

Attractions

  • The single-nave church of St-Pierre stands on a hill to the side and above the village. It is built from regularly hewn stone and can be assigned to the 15th or 16th century. Your bell gable is divided into two parts.
