Talencieux is a French commune in Ardèche, in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Annonay-2 in the Arrondissement of Tournon-sur-Rhône . Neighboring municipalities are Saint-Étienne-de-Valoux in the north, Andance in the east, Sarras in the southeast, Ardoix in the south, Vernosc-lès-Annonay in the southwest and Thorrenc in the west. In addition to the main settlement, Talencieux also includes the hamlets of Chardenos, Bel Air, Patroly, Blacieux, Les Rameaux, La Garde, Assuis, La Char and Ozas.
