Saint-Alban-d'Ay is a French commune with 1,397 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Saint-Alban-d'Ay belongs to the Arrondissement of Tournon-sur-Rhône and the canton of Haut-Vivarais (until 2015: canton of Satillieu ). The inhabitants are called Saintalbanais (es) .

Saint-Alban-d'Ay is about seven kilometers southwest of Annonay . Saint-Alban-d'Ay is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Roiffieux in the north, Quintenas in the east, Saint-Romain-d'Ay in the southeast, Satillieu in the south and southwest and Vocance in the west.
