The Communauté de communes du Val d'Ay is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the north of the Ardèche department , whose administrative headquarters are in the town of Satillieu . Its member communities lie along the eponymous river Ay , which flows from the eastern foothills of the Massif Central towards the Rhone . The community association founded in 2001 consists of eight communities on an area of ​​146.1 km 2 . Brigitte Martin is the president of the community association.

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the municipalities of Ardoix and Quintenas left the association and joined the Annonay Rhône Agglo .
