The Communauté de communes Berg et Coiron is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Ardèche department , whose administrative headquarters are in Villeneuve-de-Berg . It is located in the eastern center of the department between Aubenas and Montélimar and includes a highland belonging to the Massif Central , the Plateau du Coiron . The other part of the name, Berg, was the name of a medieval country. The community association founded in April 2003 consists of 13 communities on an area of ​​219.3 km ² . Jean-Paul Roux is the president of the community association.

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the Lavilledieu municipality left the association and joined the Communauté de communes du Bassin d'Aubenas .
