The Communauté de communes du Bassin d'Aubenas is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Ardèche department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It was founded on December 26, 2016 and comprises 28 parishes. The seat of the administration is in Ucel .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes du Pays d'Aubenas-Vals and Communauté de communes du Vinobre , leaving the municipalities of Lanas and Lachamp-Raphaël to other municipal associations and access of the municipality Lavilledieu from the Communauté de communes Berg et Coiron .

With effect from January 1, 2019, the previously independent municipalities of Antraigues-sur-Volane and Asperjoc were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Vallées-d'Antraigues-Asperjoc , which was incorporated into the municipal association. This reduced the number of municipalities in the association of municipalities from 29 to 28.
