The Communauté de communes du Pays Beaume-Drobie is a French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Ardèche department , whose administrative headquarters are in Joyeuse . It is located in the southwest of the department in the Cevennes with elevations of up to 1500  m and is largely part of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park . The communities are spread across the valleys of the Beaume and Drobie rivers , which gave the association its name. The community association founded at the end of 1994 consists of 19 communities on an area of ​​279.9 km ² . Alain Mahey is the president of the community association.

• December 22, 1994: Foundation by the parishes of Chandolas , Joyeuse , Ribes , Rocles , Valgorge and Vernon .
• May 5, 1995: Saint-Mélany joins
• 6 December 1995: Dompnac , Laboule , Rosières , Faugères , Planzolles and Saint-André-Lachamp join

tasks

The competencies required include the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning on the basis of a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association operates the garbage collection and disposal. In addition, the association builds and maintains cultural and sports facilities and promotes events in these areas.
