The little bible fox ( Japanese 手塚治虫 の 旧約 聖 書 物語 , Tezuka Osamu no Kyūyaku Seisho Monogatari , "Osamu Tezuka's story of the Old Testament ", English In the Beginning: The Bible Stories , Italian. In principio: Storie dalla Bibbia ) is one 26-part animated series based on the books by the author Hidenori Kumai , illustrated by Kozumi Shinozawa and Atsuko Ogawa and published by Manga Messiah . The series covers the story of the Old Testament from the Bible from the creation of the world and man by God to the birth of Jesus in easy-to-understand language for children.
action
The narrator of the story often quotes passages from scriptures. Examples: “God said there should be light! and there was light. And God was pleased with what he saw. Then he separated the light from the darkness and called the light day and the darkness night. And the night went and the morning came, this was the first day. ”“ Be fruitful and multiply and ... ”“ And of all living things, of all flesh, you shall bring two of all into the ark ... ”“ ... do it Ark and seal (seal) it inside and out with pitch ... "
A small, male fox tells of the events from the Old Testament, from creation to the birth of Jesus, and usually intervenes clumsily in what is happening. In the episode Noah's Ark he finally finds a companion. In some episodes God also intervenes indirectly through messengers (angels in white robes) in the course of the story.
