KK Tatsunoko Pro ( Japanese 株式会社 タ ツ ノ コ プ ロ , Kabushiki-gaisha Tatsunoko Puro , English Tatsunoko Production Co., Ltd. ) is a Japanese animation studio.
history
Tatsunoko Productions was founded on October 19, 1962 as KK Tatsunoko Production ( 株式会社 竜 の 子 プ ロ ダ ク シ ョ ン , Kabushiki-gaisha Tatsunoko Purodakushon ) by the manga artist Tatsuo Yoshida together with his brothers Kenji Yoshida and Toyoharu Yoshida. The studio made its debut in 1965 with the Space Ace series .
On March 4, 2013, the company moved its headquarters from Kokubunji to nearby Musashino and renamed itself to KK Tatsunoko Pro .
