Manfred Erdmann
Manfred Erdmann (born December 29, 1939 - October 26, 2017 ) was a German voice actor .
Life
Manfred Erdmann has been working in film dubbing since the early 1980s . He has Germanized Rip Torn and Billy West several times. He was best known as the German voice of Mr. T in the television series Das A-Team . His rough voice can also be heard in feature films such as Dark City , but it was particularly in great demand for animation films . He designed striking minor characters in Asterix films and in Nightmare Before Christmas . His best-known roles remain that of the comic book guy in The Simpsons and Dr. Zoidberg in Futurama . Erdmann also spoke in the fairy tales of SimsalaGrimm the king and the farmer in Tischlein deck dich . Erdmann also lent his deep voice to the stork Ermenrich in the wonderful journey of little Nils Holgersson with the wild geese . He also took over the voice of Red Skull in the animated series New Spider-Man and Megatron in the Transformers series .
Manfred Erdmann died on October 26, 2017.
