Walter Reichelt

Walter Reichelt (born May 30, 1923 in Breslau ; † July 5, 2002 in Munich ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Live and act

As an actor, Reichelt played supporting roles in several television productions, including the series The Fifth Column (1966), Das Kriminalmuseum (1967) and Lerchenpark (1971), the Tatort film Das Missing Weight (1973), the television adaptation of Berlin Alexanderplatz (1980) and the family series Löwengrube (1989).

Reichelt began dubbing around 1960. He became known as the spokesman for several striking characters in successful cartoon series. So he lent his voice to the Viking leader Halvar in Wickie and the strong men , the chief Majestix in Asterix - victory over Caesar , Yosemite Sam in the Bugs Bunny Show , the bulldog Spike in the Tom and Jerry cartoons or the grandfather in Die Simpsons .

Reichelt, who lived in Munich , was involved there, among other things, at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel and, in his last professional years, at the small comedy at Max II .

Walter Reichelt retired from his job in 1997 and died on July 5, 2002. He was the father of Sonja Reichelt .
