Joyeuse is a French commune with 1721 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardèche department .
geography
The municipality is located in a wide valley on the Beaume River . A mountain range connects to the north, south of Joyeuse the Beaume breaks through a karst landscape into the Ardèche valley . The municipality is part of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park .
