Saint-Maurice-d'Ardèche is located on the middle reaches of the Ardèche between the neighboring communities Rochecolombe in the south and Lanas and Vogüé in the north, 12 kilometers south of Aubenas and 8 kilometers northeast of Ruoms . The canton's capital, Villeneuve-de-Berg, is 14 kilometers to the northeast.
