Uzer is a French municipality with 414 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Ardèche, in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes .

Uzer is located in southern France on the Ligne and the Lande, a tributary of the Ligne, about 31 kilometers southwest of Privas , the seat of the prefecture of the Ardèche department and 3.7 kilometers southeast of Largentière , the sub-prefecture of the arrondissement and capital of the canton Largentière on one mean height of 233 m . Uzer belongs to the Roman Catholic community of Laurac , which is part of the parish of Saint Joseph au Pays de Ligne of the diocese of Viviers .
