The Ay is a river in France that runs in the Ardèche department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises under the name Malpertuis at Col du Faux in the municipality of Lalouvesc , generally drains north-east and flows into the Rhône after 32 kilometers near Sarras as a right tributary .
