Quintenas ( Occitan : QUINTENAS ) is a French municipality with 1630 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Quintenas belongs to the Arrondissement Tournon-sur-Rhône and the Canton of Haut-Vivarais (until 2015: Canton Satillieu ). The inhabitants are called Quintenassien (ne) s .

geography

Quintenas is about five kilometers south of Annonay on the Cance . Quintenas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Roiffieux in the north and northwest, Vernosc-lès-Annonay in the northeast, Ardoix in the east, Saint-Romain-d'Ay in the south and Saint-Alban-d'Ay in the west.
