Pailharès is a French municipality with 455 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Pailharès belongs to the Arrondissement Tournon-sur-Rhône and the canton Haut-Vivarais (until 2015: canton Saint-Félicien ). The residents are called pailherous .

geography

Pailharès is about 21 kilometers west of Tournon-sur-Rhône . Pailharès is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Satillieu in the north and northeast, Vaudevant in the northeast, Saint-Félicien in the east, Nozières in the south and Lafarre in the west.
