Saint-Basile

Saint-Basile is a French commune in Ardèche, in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Haut-Vivarais in the Arrondissement of Tournon-sur-Rhône . It is located in the eastern foothills of the Massif Central and borders Désaignes in the north-west, Lamastre in the north- east, Vernoux-en-Vivarais in the south-east, Saint-Apollinaire-de-Rias in the south, and Belsentes with Saint-Julien in the south -west. Labrousse and to the west with Saint-Prix . The inhabitants call themselves Basiliens or Basiliens.
