Vocance ( Occitan : also vocance ) is a French municipality with 610 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It is located in the Ardèche department and belongs to the Arrondissement Tournon-sur-Rhône and the canton Annonay-2 (until 2015: Canton Annonay-Sud ).

Vocance is located about 66 kilometers south-southwest of Lyon . The Cance River crosses the parish. Vocance is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vanosc in the north, Villevocance in the northeast, Roiffieux in the east and northeast, Saint-Alban-d'Ay in the east and southeast, Satillieu in the south and southeast, Saint-Symphorien-de-Mahun in the south, Saint- Julien-Vocance in the southwest and Monestier in the west.
