Carvalhal de Vermilhas is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district ( concelho ) of Vouzela . The community had 215 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

With the territorial reform of September 29, 2013 , the municipalities of Carvalhal de Vermilhas and Cambra were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Cambra e Carvalhal de Vermilhas .

With the Dólmen da Lapa de Meruge there is a megalithic complex from the Neolithic Age in the municipality.
