Cary Guffey
Cary Guffey (born May 10, 1972 in Douglasville , Georgia ) is a retired American actor who was best known for his role in Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind at the age of five . He later appeared in two Bud Spencer films as the extraterrestrial toddler H7-25 . In 1985 Guffey turned his back on acting. He later studied marketing and became an investment advisor at the financial services company Merrill Lynch , and has been with PNC Investments since 2012. He now lives in Birmingham , Alabama with his wife and two children .
