The Casa dei Canonici is a town house, a palazzo in the old town of Locarno in the Swiss canton of Ticino . The building was built towards the end of the 16th century and expanded around 1600 by the patrician and governor Cristoforo Orelli. Orelli bequeathed the palazzo to the Canons of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in his will .

Church and palazzo are protected cultural assets of national importance.

The church was added to the side of the three-story town house with the facade until 1636 . This north facade is structured by cornices and decorated with stucco . A vestibule leads into the inner courtyard, which is bordered by double loggias in the north and the church in the west.

The interior and the chimneys are also decorated with stucco. Coffered ceilings characterize the rooms in the east of the house, while in the western part facing the church, the rooms are vaulted.
