Casey Anderson (* 5. October 1934 in Chicago , Illinois as Charles H. Anderson ; † around 1976) was an African American blues - and folk - singer , who in the years 1960 to 1976 a total of 10 LPs and seven singles on the label Elektra , ATCO , Forum Circle , Urania , Superstar , Edge and Chelsea .

Worth mentioning

On his LP Blues Is A Woman Gone , released in 1965, the cover depicts Nico (Christa Päffgen), who worked as a photo model at the time and later became famous through her participation as a singer in The Velvet Underground .
