Casey Nicole Loyd (* 23. February 1989 in San Diego , California as Casey Nicole Nogueira ) is an American soccer player who most recently in the 2013 season when FC Kansas City in the National Women's Soccer League was under contract.
Career
From 2010 to 2011 Loyd played in the WPS for the Chicago Red Stars and Sky Blue FC . In early 2013 she signed a contract in the newly formed NWSL at FC Kansas City. Loyd made her league debut on April 13, 2013 against Portland Thorns FC , and she scored her first goal in the NWSL on June 13, 2013 in a 2-0 away win at the Chicago Red Stars.
International
Loyd played for various youth national teams in the USA between 2004 and 2007 and took part with the U-20s in the 2006 World Cup and the 2007 Pan-American Games . In 2007 she made her debut for the senior national team of the USA , her next four appearances took place in 2010. Since then Loyd has not been used in international matches.
Private
Loyd is the daughter of former professional soccer player and futsal national player Victor Nogueira . On October 13, 2012, she married the US national soccer player Zach Loyd .
Achievements and Awards
