Casiano José Chavarría (born August 3, 1901 ; † unknown) was a Bolivian football player .

Career

With the national team of Bolivia took defender at the 1926 South American Championship part. Chavarría was used in three games against Chile (1: 7), Paraguay (1: 6) and Uruguay (0: 6); in the second game of the championship against Argentina (0: 5) he was not used. At the Campeonato Sudamericano in 1927 , the Bolivian played for the national team in three other games against Argentina (1: 7), Uruguay (0: 9) and Peru (2: 3). In July 1930, the player from Calavera La Paz was in the national team at the first World Cup in Uruguay . Chavarría played under coach Ulises Saucedo in both World Cup games against Yugoslavia (0: 4) and Brazil (0: 4).

Between 1926 and 1930 Chavarría was used in eight of the first nine international matches of the Bolivian national team.
