The Castle Peak is a distinctive, icy and 2380 m high mountain in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises immediately south of Murphy Glacier near the western flank of the Avery Plateau . Its rounded summit in the form of a compressed cone rises more than 610 m from the ice masses surrounding it.
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out a survey in 1946 and named it because it is reminiscent of a medieval castle ruin.
