Castries is a quarter (district) in the west of the small island state of St. Lucia . The quarter has 60,243 inhabitants (2010 census) and is the largest quarter of St. Lucia in terms of population and area. The capital of the quarter is the seaside capital, Castries . The Cul de Sac , one of the most important rivers in St. Lucia, flows through the Quarter .
