Catherine Gore
Catherine Grace Frances Gore , née Moody (born 1799 in East Retford , Nottinghamshire , † January 29, 1861 in Linwood ) was an English writer . She also worked on several French stage plays and composed some folk songs, notably Burn's And ye shall walk in silk attire .
In 1823 Catherine Francis married Captain Arthur Gore.
