Cathrin Schlueter (born September 8, 1980 in Schwerin ) is a former German national volleyball player .

Career

Cathrin Schlueter played for Schwerin SC without interruption in her career . She was able to celebrate numerous successes with her club. From 2000 to 2002 she was German champion three times in a row, and in 2002 she also won the DVV Cup . In 2006 she was able to repeat the double with the SSC. This year the middle blocker was also called up for the first time in the senior national team, with which she experienced her first major tournament at the World Cup in Japan , which ended in a disappointing eleventh place. In 2007 she was again DVV Cup winner. In 2008 Schlüter ended her volleyball Bundesliga career early because of a cartilage damage in her knee. Since 2010 she has been playing for the regional division SV Warnemünde , with whom she qualified for the newly created Third League North in 2012.
