The Cayemites ( Creole . Kayimit , French Les Cayemites ) are two islands in the Gulf of Gonâve in the west off the north coast of the Tiburon Peninsula Haiti : Grande Cayemite ( Gwo Kayimit ) and Petite Cayemite ( Ti Kayimit ).

The islands are together 45 square kilometers. Petite Cayemite, which is only about one square kilometer in size, is located immediately west of Grande Cayemite. The islands are located about 35 kilometers east of the city of Jérémie and administratively belong to the department of Grand'Anse and to the municipality of Pestel, which lies opposite on the coast . The population is 18,000. The island's capital is Anse à Macon (2500 inhabitants) on the south-east coast, the next larger place Pointe Sable (1600 Ew.). Water scarcity limits agriculture. There is fishing.
