Cecilio Garza Limón

Cecilio Garza Limón (born November 28, 1952 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican ambassador .

Life

Cecilio Garza Limon studied political science with a specialization in international relations at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris . He is a Masters and received a PhD in Cameralistics from the University of Paris . He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Vermont . He studied law at the Universidad Iberoamericana . Cecilio Garza Limon is married to Sharon Martens Endicott.

The Vicente Fox Administration appointed him on September 4, 2002 as its General Coordinator for International Relations. At the Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores he was Minister of State for Trade and Tourism. From August 9, 1995 to August 8, 1999, he was Ambassador to Seoul in South Korea. From 1999 to November 9, 2001, he was ambassador to Beijing in the People's Republic of China. For the Bancomext he was a trade councilor in France. In the Secretaría de Pesca he headed the fishing department in Colima. He was General Coordinator of the Conferencia Mundial de Juventud México from 23 to 27 August 2010 in Monterrey.
