Celso Aguiar Bugallo (born January 1, 1947 in Vilalonga, Sanxenxo , Spain ) is a Spanish actor .

Life

Celso Bugallo started out as a lay actor in amateur theater and played only theater for several decades before making his debut as a film actor in six episodes of the television series Mareas vivas in 2000 . He made his screen debut one year later in the by Gonzalo Tapia staged adventure drama Lena alongside Roberto Álvarez and Luis Tosar . He received national and international attention for his portrayal of José in Alejandro Amenábar's drama The Sea in Me . Among other things, he was awarded the Spanish Goya Film Prize in 2005 for Best Supporting Actor .
