Celso Humberto Delgado Ramírez (born October 29, 1942 in Nayarit ) is a Mexican politician and former ambassador .

family

Celso Humberto Delgado is the son of María Trinidad Ramírez García de Delgado, Ejidataria de Pantanal municipio de Xalisco, Nayarit and Celso Delgado Barreras. He is married to María Eugenia Espriu Salazar de Delgado. The couple have four children.

education

He studied law , international law, business administration , history, sociology, cameralistics , English, French and Spanish at the National Autonomous University of Mexico , and in 1962 he was vice-chairman of the university rhetoric club.

PRI official

He has been a member of the Partido Revolucionario Institucional since 1959 , where he temporarily served as General Secretary of the Consejo Ejecutivo Nacional (CEN). From 1965 to 1968 he headed the public relations of the PRI-affiliated Confederación de Jóvenes Mexicanos , which he chaired from 1968 to 1971. From 1971 to 1972 he was in charge of public relations at the PRI-affiliated Consejo Nacional Extraordinario de la Confederación Nacional Campesina , which he chaired in 1972. In 2007 he became secretary for international relations of the PRI-affiliated Confederación Nacional Campesina , chairman and coordinator of the international council of the Consejo Político Nacional of the PRI, and general delegate of the PRI in Michoacán .

Parliamentarians

From 1970 to 1973, during the 48th legislative period, he sat in the Congress of the Union of Mexico , where he temporarily presided.

From September 1, 1982 to August 31, 1988, during the 52nd and 53rd legislative periods, sat again for the constituency of Nayarit in the Mexican parliament.

From January 11 to the Yom Kippur War on October 10, 1973 he was ambassador to Anwar as-Sadat , based in Cairo, and until October 1, 1973, he was also accredited to the government of Houari Boumedienne in Algeria.
