Cem Can (born April 1, 1981 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

During his career Cem Can played for: Bugsaşspor , Ankara Demirspor , İstanbulspor , Sivasspor , MKE Ankaragücü .

Cem Can has been a regular in midfield since Thomas Doll signed on as a coach at Gençlerbirliği Ankara .

In the summer of 2013 he followed his coach Fuat Çapa and moved to the first division newcomer Kayseri Erciyesspor . After he had completed all league games throughout the first season for Erciyesspor, he was only used sporadically in the first half of his second season. In the winter transfer period 2014/15 he moved within the city to the partner club and second division club Kayserispor .

Trivia

  • Cem Can's family is originally from Kırşehir Province . To make this clear, he always wears jersey number 40 whenever possible . 40 is the license plate number for Kırşehir Province. In Turkey, the license plates of the individual provinces are numbered in alphabetical order.
