CenterPoint Energy Plaza is a skyscraper located at 1111 Louisiana Street in Houston , Texas . The 226 meter high building is located downtown and is the seventh tallest skyscraper in the city. Only a few meters away is the four meters higher Enterprise Plaza . The 47 floors of the skyscraper represent the headquarters of the CenterPoint Energy company . The tower has a rectangular floor plan and a hole in the upper area. The facade is made of glass. After the construction work on the high-rise began in 1993, it was finished in 1996.
