Michel d'Aillières
Michel d'Aillières ( December 17, 1923 , † October 31, 2010 in Aillières-Beauvoir ) was a French politician .
D'Aillières, Member of the Assemblée nationale from 1958 to 1977 and Senator from 1977 to 1995, was Conseiller Général of the canton of La Fresnaye-sur-Chédouet from September 1957 to March 2001 . From 1953 to 2008 he was also mayor of Cherreau near La Ferté-Bernard and later of Aillières-Beauvoir . Between 1970 and 1976 and again from 1979 to 1992 he was President of the Conseil Général , until he was finally replaced by François Fillon in this office. He died on October 31, 2010 at the age of 86 at his home in Aillières-Beauvoir.
