The Center for Transnational Legal Studies (CTLS) is a global learning center for transnational law. CTLS was founded in October 2008 as a collaboration between ten law schools worldwide in London. The founding institutions are Georgetown University , King's College London , Free University Berlin , University of Toronto , National University Singapore , ESADE , University of Friborg , University of Melbourne , Hebrew University of Jerusalem and University of São Paulo . Other partner institutions include a. the Bucerius Law School and the University of Amsterdam . Each participating university sends students and professors to the CTLS every semester.

CTLS is located at Swan House at 37-39 High Holborn Street in the London Court District. CTLS's students and professors also have access to the law library at King's College London.

The curriculum is determined by the founding partner. The course contents are mainly topics of transnational and comparative law.

In January 2011, CTLS received the Andrew Heiskell Award in the "Innovative International Partnerships" category from the New York Institute of International Education.
