Centralia is an inhabited unincorporated community in Trinity County in the US state of Texas with 53 inhabitants.

history

Centralia is located between Apple Springs and Nogalus Prairie in northeast Trinity County. The place owes its name to this location. The area was first settled during the civil war . In 1885 the place had a population of 150 and several saw and flour mills . Centralia grew to 300 inhabitants in 1914. In 1990 the place was only a scattered settlement with 26 inhabitants, in 2000 there were 53.
