Population development of the municipality of Cepos (1864–2011)

Cepos was the seat of a municipality of the same name ( Freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Arganil in the Coimbra district . 135 inhabitants lived in the municipality on an area of ​​14.03 km² (as of June 30, 2011).

The following two villages belong to the former municipality:

  • Casal Novo
  • Cepos

As part of the territorial reform of September 29, 2013 , the municipalities of Cepos and Teixeira were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Cepos e Teixeira . Cepos is the seat of this newly formed community.
