history

Refin Cantina Tollo

The team was founded in 1995 as Refin-Cantina Tollo on the initiative of the manager Primo Franchini , who left the Brescialat-Ceramiche Refin team to create a new team. He took four Brescialat cyclists with him: ( Felice Puttini , Fabio Roscioli , Roberto Pelliconi and Heinz Imboden ).

In the first year the team took part in the Giro d'Italia , in which Heinz Imboden came 8th.

In 1997 the team expanded its team with Stefano Colagè and Marco Lietti . This team took part in the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España for the last time .
