Fabio Roscioli (born July 18, 1965 in Grottammare ) is a former Italian cyclist . He was a professional from 1987 to 2001 .

Career

Roscioli turned professional in 1987 and in 1988 he was fourth at Milan-San Remo . In 1993 he won the 12th stage of the Tour de France after a solo trip of over 100 km. The following year he won the three days of De Panne and a stage in the Tour de Suisse . In 1999 he celebrated his last great success with victory on the 14th stage of the Vuelta a España . In total, Roscioli took part in the major country tours 15 times (4 × Tour de France / 7 × Giro d'Italia / 4 × Vuelta a Espanga).
