Julius von Puttkamer

Ernst Julius von Puttkamer (born May 19, 1822 in Pansin , Saatzig district , † January 16, 1905 in Stettin ) was a Prussian Fideikommiss owner and politician .

Life

He came from the Puttkamer family, a very noble Pomeranian, and was the son of Ernst Friedrich Georg von Puttkamer (1787-1824), landlord on Pansin with a share of Henkenhagen and other goods, and his wife Friederike Johanne Helene, born von Lettow-Vorbeck (1796-1880) ).

Puttkamer was Fideikommissowner of Schlackow as a state parliament property in the Stolp district , from 1890 royal chamberlain and legal knight of the Order of St. John . He was also the master of Henkenhagen in the Regenwalde district and of Peest . In the Prussian army he reached the rank of first lieutenant .

In 1854 Puttkamer became a member of the Prussian mansion on presentation of the old and fortified properties in the Duchy of Wenden . Because of the sale of Fideikommiss, he left the Herrenhaus in 1903, as he had transferred the Fideikommiss to his son Günther.

Julius von Puttkamer was married to Bertha von Bockelberg (1825-1891) since 1846. From the marriage the son Günther Georg Peter von Puttkamer (1861–1921) and a daughter emerged.
