Karl von Senden (politician)

Heinrich August Werner Karl Freiherr von Senden (* July 21, 1837 in Varzin , † February 18, 1913 in Natzlaff ) was a Prussian manor owner and politician .

Life

He came from the noble Schuler von Senden family and was the son of the District President Carl von Senden and his wife Nanny, née von Blumenthal (* 1812).

Senden was the owner of the Natzlaff manor in the district of Schlawe , a royal Prussian chamberlain , cavalry master and legal knight of the Order of St. John . In 1871 he served z. B. as Premier-Lieutenant in the 1st Guard Landwehr Regiment. In 1904, when the old and fortified properties were presented in the Duchy Wenden district , Senden became a member of the Prussian mansion for life.

From 1862 Karl von Senden was married to Betty Freiin von Sobeck (1841-1892), a daughter of the manor owner and member of the Prussian manor house Wilhelm von Sobeck . The marriage had five children. The eldest son Karl Otto von Senden (* 1863) became a Prussian major general . The second son Werner von Senden (1865–1945) became the state stable master and head of the Friedrich Wilhelm stud near Neustadt ad D.
